A few more days before we go to 2026. I wanted to list down the goals that I was able to achieve this year:
- Started an e-commerce business
- Started investing in US Market
- Get an AWS Certification
To be honest with you, I wrote these goals back in 2023. But hey! Better late than never. For 2025 I only have two major goals; 1 is to join an amateur boxing; 2 is to start my personal blog. I started to train boxing conditioning and techniques in the UFC gym last September 2024, I went there every morning before I go to work, since it's just downstairs from our office and aside from that I get a free membership access as one of the perks from our company. I was able to be consistent for 6 months! Suddenly our company announced that we will stop going to the office and start working from home. Since then I stopped going to UFC as it is a bit far from my flat.
Working from home gave me a lot of extra time, I can spend more time with my family. Plus I was able to start my e-commerce store, I will post a different blog to tell you how I opened and why I closed it. In a nutshell it is a dropshipping store for supplements, I registered it for an e-trader license and partnered with a licensed supplier. They managed the logistics and I did the marketing, but unfortunately I have to close it due to the lack of funds.
I have many things in mind that I wanted to do, like get my AWS certification, start my own blog, and build a home lab. Luckily, I recently achieved one of those and got my first AWS certification. Yey! It made me happy as I literally spent a lot of time studying for the exam.
Before the year ends, let me cross out one more goal! And If you reach here, I wanted to thank you for reading my first blog. Now that I can cross out my 2nd goal this year (which is blogging), I wanted to set my 5 major goals this year:
- Get a job!
- Get 2 or more certifications
- Setup my homelab
- Get healthier
- Consistently blog until the end of the year
P.S. I had enough for AI's, now and all of my future blogs are is purely written by me. Apologies for wrong english grammars as it is not my first language. I will work on that eventually! In the meantime I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🎊🍻
